Charlie Houghton, a former Dirigo High School standout, and his UMaine Farmington Beavers team were defeated 92-69 by the Yeshiva Maccabees in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 7.

The contest began at 9 a.m. at Panzer Athletic Center and marked the team’s first tournament meeting with the Yeshiva Maccabees.
