The county registered an average of $4.31 per gallon for midgrade gas.
Of the 33 reported gas stations in cities within Franklin County, five offered midgrade gas.
Across Maine, the average reported price for a gallon of midgrade gas rose to $4.29, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
