On Sunday, March 9, former Sacopee Valley High School standout Caleb Vacchiano’s current college team, the Maine Black Bears, lost 13-9 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Bucknell Bison.
The game took place at Eugene B. Depew Field. This was their third matchup against the Bison this season.
The Black Bears’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 3 p.m. at City Park Stadium against Iona Gaels.
