Republican Party incumbent Randall Hall has won re-election for the District 114 House seat, overcoming Democratic Party candidate Gregory Kimber.

Posting on Facebook, Hall expressed gratitude for the belief in him.

“District 114, WE DID IT! What a turnout! I am honored and blessed to have been re-elected to a second term in the Maine House of Representatives and I look forward to serving each one of you with integrity and respect,” he wrote.

“Thank you to everyone who voted and to all of those who have supported and guided me through this campaign. Together, we will rebuild!” read the post in part.

He pledged to effectively serve the people of District 114.

“I am committed to bringing our issues to the forefront in Augusta and working hard to ensure those issues are resolved… I truly understand the importance of working together to achieve the common goal and I am ready to do that. I will be there ready to serve the people of District 114,” He added.

Kimber conceded defeat and congratulated Hall.

“I want to extend my congratulations to him and wish him all the best of luck for his upcoming term in the Maine Legislature. I thank him very sincerely in advance for his willingness to step up and for his service on our behalf.

He also thanked everyone who voted for him.
