In partnership with the Retail Association of Maine and the Association of Retailers of Ukraine, we are pleased to announce the launch of From Maine to Ukraine relief program to provide needed food and clothing to the people of Ukraine.
For Mainers / General Public: Starting Monday, March 21, The Maine State Visitor Information Centers will serve as collection locations for needed food products. There are seven locations in Maine and they will accept shelf-stable food donations until Friday, April 1.
For those who cannot provide food or clothing, our 501 (c) (3) charitable organization, the Maine Business Education Partnership can accept monetary donations. 100% of the funds raised will go towards this Ukraine relief program. Find more information on that here.
If your business would like to be a collection location, please contact Curtis Picard at curtis@retailmaine.org. We plan to consolidate all the donated items at the Maine Tourism Association warehouse in Hallowell, ME. You will need to arrange for your items to be delivered to Hallowell.
Donations of needed items include: Canned meat, energy bars, tea bags, candies, instant coffee, condensed milk, pet food, bars of soap, shelf stable biscuits, crackers and cookies, as well as dishes and utensils made of metal or hard plastic.
Please drop off these items at any of the seven Maine State Visitor Information Centers by April 1st
