Of the 1,957 people living in Mexico in 2020, 57 percent (1,116) were women and 43 percent (841) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Maine Lakes News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 88. In the 65 and over age range, there were 311 females and 215 males.
