The hemlock bridge is complete. Saco headwaters flow underneath during the spring. The bridge protects the fragile earth underneath from hiker’s footsteps. This construction project completes the last and the largest bridge necessary for the one mile loop trail. We would like to thank the volunteers from Pequawket Alternative School and Recon Trail Design. We love this forest and we love Fryeburg! Happy Trails!
