Deputy David Davol participated with the Mt. Abram’s “Future of Maine” Scholarship last week. To summarize, students from MSAD 58 wrote essays about what they wanted to do when they grew up. Trent Barker a (4th grader) wrote about wanting to be a police officer. Those who wrote essays won a $100 scholarship and the opportunity to have dinner with someone from the respective profession along with their family. During dinner, kids could ask questions and talk about the different career paths. A wonderful program made for a fun evening.
