Approximately 80 Percent of RSU 10 Mountain Valley area students are eligible for free or reduced meals. Seeing this acute need, the Beliveau Family created Friends of the River Valley with the purchase of this meal delivery van for the RSU 10 School District. With additional funding from some of our partners, such as the Jean and Shelton Noyes fund, the van brings nutritious meals to families and children. In the summer of 2021, so many struggled with food insecurity during the pandemic; On this particular day, this crew of hometown heroes (Colin Beliveau, The late Bruce Bulger, Gary Dollof, and Steve Lapointe) delivered 150 meal bags that provided three days of breakfast and lunch!
