On Memorial Day, Bethel and surrounding towns will honor those who have served with the dedication of the new Veterans' Park at the junction of Main and Mechanic Streets in Bethel. The Mahoosuc Community Band will kick things off at 9:45 followed by the dedication at 10. Streets will be closed in the immediate vicinity but parking shuttles will be making the rounds to get people to the park from surrounding streets. Thank you to veterans from our local area and beyond, and congratulations to the organizers and builders of the park for their years of work to get to this point.
