Picnic and Paddle - Saturday, July 23rd!
If you've never paddled this stretch of the Androscoggin River this is a great opportunity to see the beauty in our own community. If you have paddled it before, come back and enjoy it again! As part of the Clean Water Act 50th Anniversary, the Androscoggin Land Trust and Androscoggin River Watershed Council will be hosting this Picnic & Paddle.
Everyone will meet at Pine Island at 9:00 and launch from there. The paddle to Spruce Mountain takes about 30-40 minutes. At Spruce Mountain there will be a short break to talk about the trails and future plans that the Land Trust has before paddling back to Pine Island for lunch. Lunch from Berry Fruit Farm will be provided.
