The Knox Museum is a beautiful structure on the hill adjacent to Rtes1 & 131 in Thomaston, ME. A replica of the original General Henry Knox home, Montpelier, on the Saint George River, it offers insights to post Revolutionary War settlements in the Midcoast and is the foundation for the town that went to sea and the clipper trade that expanded into the 19th Century. We welcome your visit.
