The Town of Jay is seeking proposals to modify the existing highway garage located at 519 Main Street for energy upgrades and a lunchroom addition. Work includes removal of existing T1-11 siding and asphalt shingles, furnishing and installing insulation and new metal siding, new metal roofing and new vinyl replacement windows as well as construction of a new lunchroom. Plans and specification may be obtained by contacting Craig Boone, Licensed Maine Architect at (207) 485-4561. Sealed proposals clearly marked “Jay Highway Department Bid” will be accepted at the Town Office, Attn: Town Manager, 340 Main Street, Jay, ME 04239 until 1:30 p.m. on September 6, 2022 at which time bids will be opened publicly at the Town Office.
