The Town of Mexico Board of Selectmen is now accepting nominations for recognizing citizens and employees of Mexico. The following categories are part of this year’s ceremony:
Employee of the Year--The award will be presented to a full-time employee who provides services to the community in the most exemplified way and who provides efficient, friendly, and prompt service to the general public.
Volunteer of the Year--This award will be presented to a citizen who has been involved in the community with extensive volunteerism throughout the year in any way.
Citizen of the Year--This award will be presented to a citizen who has accomplished
a task within the community that has touched the lives of many and/or something that has created a positive effect within the town of Mexico.
Please submit your written nomination(s) by Tuesday, October 18th at 4 p.m. addressed in a sealed envelope to the Mexico Board of Selectmen, 134 Main Street, Mexico, ME 04257. Please indicate your nomination selection(s): ATTN: Employee of the Year; ATTN: Volunteer of the Year; ATTN: Citizen of the Year.
