Sheriff Wainwright and team members started to distribute over 2,000 Halloween Safety Bags from the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office to students pre-k through second grade

Today, Sheriff Wainwright and team members started to distribute over 2,000 Halloween Safety Bags from the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office to students pre-k through second grade.

The bags have a safety coloring book, crayons, a toothbrush and toothpaste donated by dentists throughout Oxford County, and a small treat.

For the last four years, Sheriff Wainwright, other volunteers, and staff members have put together these Halloween Safety bags. With the help of community members, our office was able to make more bags for students this year.

Thank you to all those donated goodies and to the team for helping put this effort together.
