As we head into the winter season this is just a reminder of the WINTER PARKING RESTRICTIONS in Jay.
Traffic Ordinance - Section 7-3: No person shall park a vehicle on any street for a period of time longer than 30 minutes between the hours of midnight and 6:00 a.m. of any day from November 1 to April 15 inclusive, except physicians on emergency calls.
Title 29-A MRSA § 2069.2: Interfering with snow removal, normal traffic movement - A law enforcement officer may cause the removal to a suitable parking place, at the expense of the registered owner, of a vehicle interfering with snow removal or the normal movement of traffic or parked within the limits of a right-of-way.
