The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has released the weekly awards for the week that ended on Sunday, February 12th. For the 4th time this season, senior guard Terion Moss (Portland, Maine) has been named the conference's Player of the Week.
A week ago, Moss helped to lead the Beavers to a 2-0 week to close out their regular season with a 17-7 overall record, a 13-1 record in NAC play, and the number one overall seed in the upcoming NAC playoff tournament.
For the week, Moss averaged 22 points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals per game. Against Maine Maritime on Wednesday, Moss scored a game-high 28 points on an ultra-efficient 10-15 from the field, including 5-8 from downtown. He also snared seven rebounds, dished out five assists, and added a pair of steals in the Beavers 102-61 victory.
On senior day this past Saturday, Moss came off the bench to score 16 points on 7-12 shooting from the field, canning a pair of three-pointers. He also added five rebounds, five assists and four steals in the 120-75 victory over Thomas College.
Moss finishes the regular season having averaged 23.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 2.48 steals per game.
Moss and the Beavers will be back in action Friday evening as they begin their playoff run taking on Northern Vermont-Lyndon in a NAC East Division Semifinal in Dearborn Gymnasium.
