Former Dirigo High School standout Charlie Houghton contributed as the UMaine Farmington Beavers defeated the Montclair State Red Hawks 96-84 on Friday, March 6, in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The teams met for the first time in tournament play at Panzer Athletic Center with tipoff at 5:15 p.m.
The next contest for the UMaine Farmington Beavers is scheduled at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 7 at Panzer Athletic Center.
