Midgrade gas was sold at the lowest price of $3.19 per gallon at one gas station in Franklin County during the week ending Dec. 13 2025, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The average reported price of midgrade gas across the county was $3.41 per gallon.
Among 33 gas stations in cities within Franklin County, five offered midgrade gas.
Across Maine, the average reported price for a gallon of midgrade gas fell to $3.51, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
