There was a single gas station in cities across Oxford County selling midgrade gas at the price of $3.69 per gallon in the week ending Feb. 17, according to GasBuddy.com.
Of the 12 gas stations in cities within Oxford County, just one offers midgrade gas.
The average price of midgrade gas in Maine was $3.62, compared to $3.60 the week before.
Drivers across the U.S. have faced a rollercoaster of gas prices in recent months and years. Though the cost of a gallon of gas is dropping, experts suggest they may rise to $4 before the end of 2024.
